The Exe Estuary, on which Topsham stands, teems with wild life and is an area of sp ecial scientific interest.

The town of Topsham has a lively and thriving community and offers recreational facilities by

way of clubs including swimming, tennis, bowling, rugby, sailing and football.  Other facilities include a library, museum, Women’s Institute and youth Organisations.  There are approximately 90 clubs to which people may belong and this gives Topsham a great sense of community spirit.
